lyrics

Verse 1:
Lower me down in the grave that you dug.
Told me it was a bed where you'd give me your love.
I didn't want your heart, just the touch of your skin.
Never would've lie down if I saw the coffin.
Now the geese have flown away, I don't know how but I've been blamed.
Couldn't keep the single promise you made.
Buried me in your dirt and you ran from the grave.

Chorus:
My oh my, I think that it's time that you grow up and start to realize
That these petty things are hurting more than me.
Was immaturity and jealousy worth severing all ties with me?
With all this baggage, how can the goose fly.
I thought it was you dream to see it in the sky.

Verse 2:
I cleaned up my mind, got it back to myself.
I packed you away with other hurt that I've felt.
But you had to break in and take everything out.
Filled up my mind with more confusion and doubt.
I was drowning in your words, you wanted me but needed her.
Hadn't touched my skin in a while.
But mostly missed my my life and smile.

Chorus:
My oh my, I think that it's time that you grow up and start to realize
That these petty things are hurting more than me.
Was immaturity and jealousy worth severing all ties with me?
With all this baggage, how can the goose fly.
I thought it was you dream to see it in the sky.

Bridge:
The only thing I miss from us, is that we both knew where our own future was.
Thought after dragging me through your mess and back, thought you could follow the one thing that I asked.
To respect me and leave my music out of this.
I guess that was just an unreasonable request.

Chorus:
My oh my, I think that it's time that you grow up and start to realize
That these petty things are hurting more than me.
Was immaturity and jealousy worth severing all ties with me?
With all this baggage, how can the goose fly.
I thought it was you dream to see it in the sky.
